We've decided to launch a new series. Inspired by our well-known payment solutions breakdowns, we'll now be reviewing anti-detect browsers. Here's what we'll look at: the price per profile across different plans, security and past incidents, useful features, and other criteria.
Today we're taking a look at one of the most popular anti-detect browsers - Dolphin Anty, which has been on the market for over 6 years.
Profile and User Pricing
First, let's look at the cost per profile and user:
There's a free starter package with 5 profiles for $0.
The Starter plan for beginners ranges from $10 a month for 20 profiles ($0.50 per profile) to $50 for 60 profiles ($0.83 per profile).
The Base plan for small teams offers 100 profiles for $89 ($0.89 per profile). You can also add team members for another $10 each.
The Team plan includes 300 profiles for $159 ($0.53 per profile). Each additional team member costs $20.
The Enterprise plan has the best price per profile - starting at 1,000 profiles for $299 ($0.299 per profile) and scaling up to 50k. Adding a team member costs $25.
What About Security?
Here we look at known public hacking incidents and other security issues. Dolphin had incidents involving two breaches (in 2022 and 2024). The latest case was controversial: the team paid a $100k bug bounty only after the information became public.
At the time of the original review, we hadn't reported any further major public incidents.
Features
In terms of features, Dolphin has its own automated ad launching tool, flexible team workflows, a synchronizer, and several other interesting tools (the team was first to introduce some of these features to the market).
Verdict
At the moment, Dolphin remains a solid competitor to other anti-detect browsers. It's popular both with beginners (thanks to its Free plan) and with the larger teams we surveyed (thanks to its features).
