Telegram Ads now has a pixel — a small piece of JavaScript code that you place on your website to collect aggregated data on user actions after viewing an ad (adding to cart, registering, purchasing, viewing a page, etc.). All data is sent directly to the Telegram Ads dashboard, showing conversions, CPA, and CPL. No more manually merging reports from multiple systems.
Telegram Ads supports 19 types of events. The pixel works on a post-view model: if someone sees your ad and later completes an action on your site, it is counted as a conversion.
How to Set Up
Base Code – install on all pages.
- On Tilda, this is done via site settings without a developer.
- Using Google Tag Manager is even easier.
- For custom-coded websites, a developer is needed.
Event Code – by default, Landing Views and Page Views are available, but usually you need a specific goal, e.g., form submission.
- Create an event in the Telegram Ads dashboard.
- Select the event type (Lead, Sign Up, etc.).
- Insert the event code on the target element (button, form).
Testing – click the button → a message should appear in your browser console. In the dashboard, the event status changes to Active and the timestamp updates.
Using the Pixel in Ads
When creating an ad, enter your website and select the event in the Conversion event field. Conversions will then automatically appear in statistics — no external analytics needed.
Conclusion
The Telegram Ads pixel fills a major gap — now you can track key user actions directly in the ad dashboard. Setup takes just a few steps, and the benefits are clear: precise performance tracking and proper conversion management.
